MEGO 2.0 builds upon the original MEGO design, a trusted and popular rechargeable breadboard power supply developed since 2018. Retaining the core features of the original, this new iteration addresses user feedback and introduces key enhancements for even more versatility and convenience.
A standout feature, MEGO 2.0 offers a portable and adjustable DC output voltage range from 4V to 24V. Its compact design allows it to plug directly into standard breadboards without any additional wiring, keeping circuits neat and simplifying setup. The output voltage can be securely adjusted with a small screw, with real-time voltage displayed for precision. Equipped with a high-capacity lithium-polymer battery, MEGO 2.0 ensures long standby and operation, making it a reliable power source for on-the-go prototyping and testing.
Here is a summary of what's being changed on MEGO2.0 comparing to the preivous iteration.

The full schematic of MEGO2.0 is given in these two pages of circuit diagram. You can also find the downloadable PDF below. The schematic is drawn in KiCAD.
The circuit of MEGO2.0 is drawn and implemented on a 2-Layer PCB sized by 65mm x 52mm where the placement of components is illustrated as below. Due to the inaccessibility of certain liscense required components involved, the downloadable version of this PCB layout is not available. If you are an intermediate or advanced PCB/hardware designer, recreating this board should be straightforward.
